The UNITED METHODIST WOMEN will meet for lunch and a business meeting this Sunday, April 15th, after the traditional service in the Simpson Room. All women are welcome to join us. Please bring a side dish to share.
We can’t have a year of movies associated with Pittsburgh without celebrating Gene Kelly! Please join us tomorrow, Saturday, April 14 at 6 pm, when we gather to watch An American in Paris. This 1951 movie won 6 Oscars and also stars Pittsburgh native Oscar Levant. We meet in the parlor and enjoy fellowship and discussion. Everyone is welcome!

Thank you for taking part in the 2018 Lenten Fines Challenge. This year’s fines are benefiting The Nyadire Connection vision program, which provides vision screenings and needed eyeglasses to several villages. Even if you didn’t follow the Lenten Fines Calendar, your donations to Nyadire are welcome. Please mark your fines & donations “Lenten Fines.” All fines and donations are due this Sunday.
The Fellowship of the Cross needs children and youth to help film a video that will be included in the Mother’s Day services on May 13. We will meet in the Simpson Room at 11 am, this Sunday, April 8. Outdoor scenes, and possibly some indoor scenes, will be filmed at 11, and additional scenes will be filmed in the sanctuary at the conclusion of the 11 am service. The young actors will likely be involved from 11 am until 1 pm. They should come dressed for the outdoors. See Bill Utterback or any member of the FOTC team for more information.

Our monthly Salad Luncheon is today, April 5, from 11 am to 1 pm. Proceeds support the General Fund. Please consider donating your homemade salads for the salad luncheons as we have run low the past several months.

The Education Committee is inviting all children to an Easter Egg hunt between services Sunday at the church.

This Sunday is the deadline for returning Easter Bags to help the clients of the Sewickley Community Food Bank. It's not too late if you want to shop to help families in need. Page 9 of the March Newsletter has the shopping list.
If you would like to purchase flowers to adorn the chancel on Easter Sunday, please complete an order form. The order form can be downloaded here and will also be included with the announcement insert on Sunday. This Sunday is the deadline to place an order.
Due to a number of factors impacting costs, our flower vender has increased the cost of altar flowers to $50. This change will take place in April. If you’ve signed up to sponsor flowers in April or later and wish to change your mind, please let the office know.

Please join us Saturday, March 10, at 6 pm, when we gather to watch “Baseball's Last Hero: 21 Clemente Stories.” The film dramatizes the life of Roberto Clemente. We meet in the parlor, and enjoy fellowship and discussion. Everyone is welcome!
During Lent, we come together on Sunday evenings (beginning this Sunday, February 25) for a covered dish dinner and a program. This Sunday, Leap of Faith will be bringing the program. Please join your church family!
