The pre-kindergarten through high school Sunday school classes will re-visit tradition by planting flowers on the church grounds next Sunday, May 20, the final day of our 2017-18 school year.

Creation Fest 2018 is coming up on June 27th to July 1st, and SUMC has a group headed to this amazing Christian music festival.
We will watch Mister Roberts on Saturday, May 12 at 6 pm. We meet in the parlor and enjoy fellowship and discussion. This is the final gathering of the Film Club until September. Everyone is welcome!

The United Methodist Women (UMW) will host a Rummage Sale on Friday, May 11, from 5 PM to 8 PM and on Saturday, May 12, from 8 AM to 1 PM.
We will celebrate Heritage Sunday this Sunday. As we gather for fellowship after the 11 am service, we will celebrate this year with the theme of common foods.
Thank you for supporting our fundraiser and helping pay down the building loan. This Sunday, April 22, is the deadline to place orders for May 3 – 6 pickup. Order forms are on the posters in the sanctuary and Simpson Room. Soup choices are Stuffed Pepper, Wedding, and Lentil Soup (vegetarian/vegan) and Sandra’s Hummus.
The Pittsburgh District Conference is being held on Sunday at 4 pm at St. Paul’s UMC (1965 Ferguson Rd., Allison Park 15101). Fellowship and refreshments begin at 3:30. Everyone is welcome to attend.
ERT Training is for certification in Disaster Response offered in association with UMCOR. Training will be offered May 2, 4, and 5.
In response to recent natural disasters around the country, Eastbrook Mission Barn (WPAUMC) recently sent a truck to UMCOR’s Sager Brown Depot.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 5th! Adults and youth age 14 and older are invited to the work day. SUMC will help process donated items from 9am to noon.
Traditionally, SUMC has selected a United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) relief kit to assemble and deliver to AC at Grove City College each June. This year, we will assemble hygiene kits.
EUMA (Erie United Methodist Alliance) and All God’s Children Ministries/Ramps of Hope is holding its Annual Shoe Drive to raise funds for its missions. Sewickley UMC will collect new and gently used CLEAN shoes (pairs only) from now until June 3rd.
