Leap of Faith has again been asked to play for the Fern Hollow Summer Celebration on June 22nd from 5:00-8:00pm. As a thank you to the church, the SUMC family is invited to join in the celebration for free! The Creation Crew is in need of 1 or 2 family sized tents to take with us for our 4 days at Creation Festival starting June 27th. Please see Susie Moffett or Johnathan Burnette if you have a tent in good condition that you can lend. Also, we have 2 tickets still available if there is anyone interested in joining us last minute!
The final meeting of the "What Does the Bible Say?" small group study meeting at the Moffett’s home was to be held this Sunday, but will be pushed back a week to June 17th. We’ll be discussing The Way Forward Commission, the Book of Discipline, and the Reconciling Ministries Network.

The $20,000 fundraising goal was met! As pledged, the team chairing the HOF spent a day at the McKeesport Healthy Village Learning Institute working on various projects.

The Outreach Committee thanks Pam Honeychurch and Jenine Furry for becoming certified Early Response Team (ERT) Leaders. They both are now trained to be early responders to disasters.

On Sunday, May 27, SUMC is the host church for the Sewickley Area Veteran’s Memorial Service at 11 am. It would be wonderful to have a good turnout to show our support of area veterans and military personnel. Our handbell choir, the Clocktower Ringers, will be providing the music at the 11 am Memorial Service at the Coast Guard Station on Saturday, May 26, and on Monday, May 28, look for the handbell choir in the Memorial Day Parade.
Volunteers are needed to serve as ushers during the 11 am service this Sunday (and beyond). Please respond with the dates you are available to volunteer your service!
This Sunday, May 27, we will observe Memorial Day, a time to remember fallen heroes & recognize our veterans and veterans of the Sewickley Valley.
